W Hartley & Sons – Our History

Having been formed back in 1930, W Hartley & Sons have seen many changes over the years. One of the first undertakings of the new company back in 1930 was the repair of brass parts for hand pulled beer pumps which were then delivered by horse and cart to the local hostelries.

Stewardship of the company has now been passed to the fourth generation of the Hartley family in order to maintain the tradition of top quality service as we continue to specialise in the manufacture of Brass and Gunmetal fittings for numerous industrial applications.

The philosophy of the founder still lives on today in the current team, which is to supply all customers with a high quality product and deliver first class customer service and support. This philosophy has resulted in business relationships lasting over 60 years in some cases.

As a company we have the flexibility to fulfil small batch orders which enable us to meet the many varied requirements of the pipeline industry.
